"I come from a proud family that has always worked hard to fulfill the American dream.  I want to work for you. We need to create more jobs, improve our schools, and make public safety, in particular a top priority. With my public and private experience, I know what it takes to find solutions, navigate complicated governmental agencies, and get things done."

CRIME
As State Senator my top priority is to increase boots on the ground and provide additional resources to help combat gangs and isolated incidents. Working with our state and federal government to help secure grants that will provide funding for this project will be my first step to action. As a fellow fire fighter the first responder community is dear to my heart. My administration plans to take steps to provide fire/EMT with bulletproof vests.
EDUCATION
As State Senator I will stand with our governor to help dismantle Common Core. Albany students K-12 should not be held to a standard test to pass to the next grade. Especially when that student is already performing at a high level all year. Albany State University is a key part to our education system and to our communities in our region. I will fully support ASU far as promoting and securing funding for future students, unlike the current senator that tried to merge our beloved university and remove our HBCU title! As senator I will never put us in position to loose our HBCU title!

ECONOMY
I believe in a strong district 12 economy and a strong Georgia economy for the future of our children. Working with Governor Brain Kemp office we will secure jobs for Albany,Ga, Sumter, Terrell and many more counties. We will not wait on the Economic development to do it for us. I will take strong actions to work with the city commissioners and local county leaders to get our property taxes under control. Also I am a strong advocate for the CDBG funds that helps our nonprofit organizations to provide services to our community!
